About Me

My name is Jordan Mackey, and I moved to Alaska about five years ago. Not long after arriving, I discovered wood carving and quickly fell in love with the craft.

It all started with carving an owl to help keep my chickens safe. From there, one project led to another, and before long I realized that wood carving had become much more than a hobby. As my passion and skills grew, I decided to begin selling my work.

Today, I carve full-time from my small studio in Clam Gulch, Alaska, where visitors can watch me work and browse my carvings. Every piece is handcrafted with careful attention to detail, and I take great pride in creating work that captures the character and beauty of each subject.

I sincerely appreciate everyone who supports handmade art and the time and craftsmanship that go into each carving. If you have any questions about me, my work, or are looking for a custom carving, I'd be happy to hear from you.
